Can my fiance claim me as a dependant on his taxes in WI?

I worked full time until May 17th, 2011 and lost my job. I made $10,963.77 (taxes were taken out as follows: $939.45 for federal, $460.48 for Social security, 158.97 for Medicare, $560.97 for state) from my job last year. I did not receive my unemployment until the end of August and for 2011 my total unemployment amount was $10,112.00 (no taxes taken out). My fiance has been taken care of everything that I can not. Can he claim me as a dependent on his taxes this year? We live together in the state of WI.

No he can not claim you. Your income for the year is far too high.

Unfortunately, although you may feel that you depend on him if your debts and/or cost of living is high, that isn't taken into consideration by the IRS. He could only claim you if you lived with him the entire year and your income for the year was less than $3,700.

You need to file your own return with both your earned income and unemployment listed and will have to claim your own exemption on your tax return.
