Tax Return

Can i claim my mom and dad on my income tax and if so would it affect them on there medicare and medicaid?

Since Medicare and Medicaid are insurance, claiming them will not affect those medical benefits. Legally as long as your the person providing at least half the income to take care of your parents you can claim them. If your parents receive any "Taxable" income you should not claim them. In addition Social security benefits are not taxable.
